I would love to know more re: the origins of the "Star Trek" Eucharistic prayer. I've always found it a bit startling... Love the "primal elephant" bit! Actually tops the time our parish priest asked that we "affirm our feet" in the words of the Nicean Creed...

Having survivied a year or more of EFM, I take great comfort in the elephants. Beats a lot of stuff that made it into the old Testament. Gives me hope.
